Clarify deliverables and usage
Confirm what you are expected to create, where the content can be used, for how long and whether paid advertising is included. Usage rights can be more important than the shoot fee.
Ask whether exclusivity prevents you from working with competing brands and for how long.
Get payment terms in writing
Record the agreed fee, taxes if applicable, invoice process and expected payment date. Keep a copy of the final contract or written confirmation.
Do not provide OTPs, account passwords or unrelated identity credentials to receive payment.
