Guaranteed roles for money are a warning sign
Be cautious when someone promises selection in exchange for a payment. Real casting decisions depend on the project, director and role requirements, so an outsider cannot honestly guarantee a part.
Ask what any fee is for, request an invoice and independently verify the company before paying.
Check identity and production details
Search for the production company, official website, previous work and verifiable contact information. A social-media profile alone is not proof of legitimacy.
For a physical audition, confirm the venue and tell a trusted person where you are going. Prefer professional studios or offices over isolated private locations.
Protect your documents and images
Watermark identity copies where practical and share only what is necessary. Do not send intimate photographs, passwords, OTPs or banking credentials as part of an audition.
If you suspect fraud, preserve screenshots, payment records and contact details so you can report the matter to the relevant platform or authorities.
